Here are the job descriptions from the departments participating in this year’s GES Sandwich Scheme. They give you an insight into the work of the department, and the role of economists within that department.  

If successful at interview, you will be allocated to any government department with a role available. Where possible, we will try to place you within a department with an office in one of your preferred locations.
